What to Bring

  • Tent and ground cloth/tarp
  • Sleeping bag and sleeping pad/air mattress/cot
  • Flashlight/headlamp and lantern
  • Gallon of water for brushing teeth and wiping down if you don’t want to use the onsite facilities
  • Personal toiletries (baby wipes are always great thing to have)
  • Medications
  • Ear plugs (many of you know how bad it can be without them)
  • Change of clothes and proper footwear
  • You may want to invest in a battery operated fan for your tent or hand warmers depending on the temperature
  • Bug spray, sunscreen, and sunglasses
  • Meals will be provided, but feel free to bring any snacks you think you and your Scout might need
  • Small cooler with personal drinks
  • Folding chair, hammock, etc.
  • Bike (depending on location)
  • Guitar, Harmonica, etc. (if you want to perform for the group)
  • Anything else you think you might need to "rough it" for one night
